Dimer Fatty Acid Dimer Fatty Acid is viscous, liquid dicarboxylic acids that improve the flexibility, elasticity and hydrophobicity of various polymers. They are used primarily in the production of polyamides resin and polyesters.Aver dimer fatty acid are produced via oligomerization of C18-unsaturated fatty acids. MMD dimer fatty acids are characterized by their content of mono fatty acid(C36 acid ester and C18 monoacid), Diacid(C36 diacid) and polybasic acids(C54+ polyacids). The MMD product line offers regular and distilled dimer acids with dimer compositions of approximately78-98%.
